Faith-Based Consulting and Services
—The way you tell your story can make all the difference—
It starts with a vision
a God-inspired passion sparked in your heart:
. . . that book you’ve been wanting to write,
. . . that ministry you’ve been called to start or expand,
. . . that outreach event on your mind,
. . . that podcast or radio program you’ve been dreaming about,
. . . that desire to go beyond the walls of your church and bring your message to a broader audience,
. . . or that heart-felt passion to partner with other churches and ministries to fulfill a common mission.
Whether you are just starting out, halfway into your ministry calling, or a seasoned leader, Melinda Kay Ronn is committed to helping you fulfill that vision the Lord has given you.
Ministry Minute
I have always loved the story of Gideon.
It’s a lesson for all of us – a reminder that God can use the least among us to accomplish great things. When God called Gideon a “mighty warrior” and that he would be used to save Israel from the Midianites, Gideon responded, “Pardon me, my Lord, but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”
I’ve been blessed to work for and with some of the most wonderful leaders, pastors, and ministries / organizations in our nation. And I can tell you, all of them started from humble beginnings. Many of them, in fact, would have been unlikely candidates to accomplish the great works that we know them by today.
That brings me to the second reason I love the story of Gideon.
Not only did God call Gideon, the least likely of his peers, to be the one to save Israel from the Midianites, but He also reduced the size of Gideon’s army from 33,000 men to a mere 300!
Scripture tells us that God reduced the size of Gideon’s army so that Israel would clearly see that their reliance, provision, protection – and yes, victory – comes from God and not man.
The take-away lesson for all of us, especially those of us who serve in a ministry capacity, is that it is God that accomplishes great things through ordinary people!
What Clients are Saying
Melinda is terrific!
“Melinda is terrific! In all the years I’ve serviced non-profit clients I have never worked with someone who can open as many doors, form as many partnerships, recruit as many allies and deliver on impossible deadlines like Melinda. Time and time again she has connected our client to influential organizations and leaders, potential funders, members of the media, or major foundations. She has provided pathways to major funding opportunities and expanded the reach -- from a start up to an organization with national recognition. Melinda’s writing is exquisite and impactful and when coupled with her deep understanding of the media great things happen for our client. Her direct efforts have led to articles appearing in major news outlets, including Time magazine.
“Melinda is a professional writer, connector, and public relations expert. On a personal level she is an optimist with a giving heart and a kind soul. I recommend Melinda to any organization that cares about the quality of the content they publish, is interested in growth and is looking to develop new friends, partnerships, allies and funding.”
